Scope of Practice
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I conduct clinical mental health evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and evidence-based standardized assessments within my professional scope. I do not conduct formal psychological testing, neuropsychological assessments, competency to stand trial evaluations, or formal custody evaluations. I work with contracted licensed psychologists and psychiatrists when such evaluations are needed to ensure comprehensive assessment.
